What does Brand Registry give you?
- Control of your listing: your brand's content takes priority over edits from other sellers.
- A+ content and a Brand Store to explain your product and build trust.
- Sponsored Brands ads and Brand Analytics for search and customer data.
- Report a Violation: a direct way to report counterfeits, copied content and IP infringement.
What do you need to enroll?
- A registered trademark, or a pending application with an eligible trademark office.
- The brand name on the product or its packaging, matching the trademark exactly.
- Product and packaging photos that show the brand.
- An account holder who owns the trademark or is authorized to act for its owner.
Amazon's IP Accelerator connects brands with vetted trademark firms and can give earlier access to some Brand Registry tools while an application is pending. We plan the trademark early so it's ready when your inventory is.
What problems do we fix?
- Applications rejected because the brand name, logo or images don't match the trademark.
- Other sellers changing your title, images or bullets.
- Hijackers selling counterfeit or different products on your listing.
- Copycat listings using your photos or brand name.
- IP complaints filed against your own brand. See our IP and trademark complaints service.
How do you protect the brand after launch?
- Check your listings regularly for content changes and new sellers.
- Test-buy from a suspicious seller before reporting, so your report has evidence.
- Report through Report a Violation with order numbers and photos.
- Only report real violations. Amazon can limit Brand Registry access for brands that abuse the tools.
