What goes into the listing?
- Title: the main keywords and key facts, within Amazon's style rules for your category.
- Bullets and description: answers to the questions buyers actually ask.
- Images: a main image on a pure white background, plus feature, size and lifestyle images.
- A+ content for brands enrolled in Brand Registry.
- Backend search terms and the right category and attributes.
Which listing mistakes get new products flagged?
- Health or medical claims, such as cures or treats.
- Pesticide-type claims, such as antibacterial or kills germs. See restricted products removals.
- Promotional phrases in the title, such as best seller or free shipping.
- Text, logos or props on the main image.
- Competitor brand names in the title or keywords, which can lead to IP complaints.
How do we launch it?
- Sponsored Products: start with tight campaigns on terms that convert, then expand as data comes in.
- Reviews: Amazon Vine for brands in Brand Registry, and follow-up through Amazon's own Request a Review button.
- Pricing and coupons set to compete without wiping out the margin.
- Inventory planning so you don't run out of stock just as sales pick up.
No review shortcuts. We don't buy reviews, use review groups or give free products in exchange for reviews outside Amazon Vine. Those shortcuts are a common reason brand accounts get suspended, and fixing those suspensions is our day job.
